Taylor M. Repko

Taylor Repko

Taylor M. Repko is a Rowan University student studying for her Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Taylor’s career goal is to become an Imagineer for the Walt Disney Company. She had an internship with Mount Construction which prepared her for her career goal as an Imagineer. Taylor performed entry level estimating tasks, monthly payment estimates, site safety/visits, bid meetings and site plans. Taylor works during the semester as lab technician for 3D printing lab as well as lab assistant for Media lab on campus. Taylor is also in the CREATEs fellowship program at Rowan where she has experience in construction materials including accelerated pavement testing, construction materials laboratory, and various research projects for local companies. Taylor has been involved in multiple clubs. She has recently become the President for the student chapter of ASCE, Marketing Chair and Conference Chair for the 2020 ASCE Metropolitan Conference. She has been involved in various volunteering events for both service hours and in her free time. Taylor aspires to continue in the ASCE organization after college and plans on continuing her growth as a civil engineer after graduation.

Muhammad Taimoor Akhtar

Muhammad Taimoor Akhtar is an incoming senior at Rowan University. He started with an Associate degree in Engineering Science at County College of Morris and transferred to Rowan University to pursue his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He has had two internships through his years at Rowan University and County College of Morris. His first internship was at Phillips Precision Medicraft as an CNC Machinist and Finishing Associate. His tasks were analyzing work orders, material specifications, validating geometric dimensions to plan machining and ensure professional appearance to the product line. His second and current internship involved working for HNTB Corporation as a Structural Engineering Intern. Muhammad performed entry level cost estimates, design of structural elements for existing and new bridges, and structural evaluation and analysis. Muhammad has been involved in multiple clubs throughout college. He has recently become a e-board member for the student chapter of ASCE as the mentoring chair. He also has involvement in Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. He has been involved in various clubs such as Rowan University Muslim Student Associate and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal and Northern New Jersey.

Connor S. Mack

Connor Mack is an incoming Senior at Rowan University pursing his degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Connor is active with ASCE through attending all chapter meetings and participating in their service activities and social activities. He serves as a Senator for EWB and through that position has become a part of the SGA Student Committee on Facilities, Planning, and Operations which serves as the student interface with campus facilities operations. Connor is also in the CREATEs fellowship program at Rowan where he has experience in collaborative research-based group study on construction material and focusing on asphalt. He also has involvement in Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. He has been involved in various clubs on campus and a leader in his fraternity. Connor’s main goal is to overall help the field of civil engineering become more sustainable and environmentally conscious, whether it be decreasing the annual carbon emissions resulting from cement or finding ways to be more precautious during land development. He wants to continuously strive to do better and help the civil engineering community grow, while maintaining the code of ethics.

Andrew J. Agresto

Andrew Agresto is an incoming Senior at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) pursing his degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Andrew had an internship with Stantec where he performed entry level drafting, BIM modeling and managed communications with utility companies. Andrew worked for CCS Program at TCNJ to assist students with intellectual disabilities in completing coursework and developing career skills. Andrew has been involved in multiple clubs at TCNJ during his time here. He has recently a member of TCNJ Student Conduct Board which he is responsible for determining if students violated the conduct code and assigning sanctions. Andrew is also the Treasure of Chi Epsilon TCNJ. Andrew wants to be able to improve the inter-connectivity and safety of many communities through working as a Highway Engineer.
