Join the ASCE South Jersey Branch for an evening of networking, dinner, and an insightful presentation by James Gallagher, P.E., F. ASCE of Resolution Management Consultants, Inc. on “Risk Allocation in Alternate Project Delivery Systems.” The discussion will explore how Alternative Project Delivery Systems (APDS) can improve project efficiency, communication, and risk allocation compared to traditional Design-Bid-Build methods, while also highlighting how they impact dispute resolution and claims. It will cover best practices for risk management, change order handling, and documentation, using lessons learned from projects where unclear responsibilities under APDS led to cost overruns and delays. Event participants will receive 1 PDH credit for this meeting.
